NAZCA LINES
The Nazca Lines are mysterious ground drawings, only seen from above, with images of animals and plants.
Nazca Lines were scraped in Peru in an area of 1000 sq kilometers of the Nazca sand desert. Discovered by Peruvian archeologist Toribio Mejía Xesspe in 1927, after more than 1,000 years no one knows how they were made.
These pre-Colombian geoglyphs date from 500 BC to AD 500.
TERRACOTTA WARRIORS
The Terracotta Warriors are one of the most remarkable discoveries in recent years. They are dated to approximately 259 BC – to 210 BC and were buried with the emperor Qin Shi Huang on his death.
Terracotta Warriors is a collection of terracotta sculptures of warriors found by Chinese farmers when they were digging a well.
After the Terracotta warrior’s discovery, the place became a museum and a UNESCO site.
